Bupinder Singh

A native of Kashmir, Bupinder Singh Bali belongs to the micro-minority Sikh community. When he is not teaching English and Science to upper-primary students at a government high school, he is working as the associate editor of the UNIverse Journal, a multidisciplinary journal of humanities, and a fiction reader for the Masters Review. Several of his works—poetry, short stories, and articles—have been published in several national and international magazines and journals like The Week, The Delacorte Review, The Non-binary Review, The Antihumanist and the Whale Road Review, among others. He was shortlisted as a finalist in the Times of India, Write India for author Gulzar’s prompt on immigration. He was also long-listed for the World Nomads International Travel Writing Scholarship 2020. His latest story, Escape from Kashmir, was published in September 2023 and is now available online at Delacorte Review https://delacortereview.org/2023/09/26/escape-from-kashmir/
